Outfit: Pink, Green, and Leopard on Leopard

Hello everyone!

There's just something about dressing up that makes me feel really good. One of my college roommates always commented on how I always got DRESSED for class. She said, "You never see you go to class in sweats." I actually didn't really own any sweats outside of my cheerleading practice wear and game day uniforms. My appearance affected how I felt, which affected my academic performance. I remember there was a time when I did go to class in my cheerleading sweats and I just felt like I wanted to put my head down and take a nap. From that day on, I made sure I got DRESSED for class.

I still live by the same rules today. For me, feeling good begins with looking good. Now don't get me wrong, there are days when I stay in my lounge clothes all day. But when I want to feel pretty, I get DRESSED. Even when I am sick or in a bad mood, my outfit can give me a little boost back the other way.

An evening gown makes me feel elegant, ruffles and lace make me feel ultra feminine, just as a suit makes me feel like a CEO. Can an outfit change your mood or alter how you feel?

    1. When I saw it at Target, I thought it was a little bit too expensive for Target. And when I finally decided I wanted it anyway, they were sold out. Then, on day I was at Target again, and saw someone had returned it in my size...and the rest is history!

  12. Awesome color combo! Nice watch...and I LOVE your hair!! I thoroughly enjoy getting dressed up and I feel super good every time I get the opportunity to, but that opportunity is rare. Dressing up always makes me feel good, but living in a small town...with nothing to do and nowhere to go...I usually feel like dressing up is a waste of a good outfit!! I have a great work opportunity here, but I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER I CAN TAKE IT!! :-)

    You definitely have great style!!

  14. Your confident style says WOW!!! I love how you can own your style with a lot of colors and pizazz. I'm a little wallflower and always feel too shy to wear anything that is noticeable. I need to take notes and claim it!!! I was sent here by The Tiny Heart!!!

    1. I am so happy to have you from The Tiny Heart! I use to be the same way. I wouldn't dare wear a lot of color, pattern, or texture. Take it slow, and before you know it, you won't even notice!
