Outfit: Floral and Color Blocked Skirt

I have had these Michael Kors platform sandals for about three years now. They are the highest and the most comfortable sandals I own, and that's including flats. I can walk in these all day with no problem. There is no toe rubbing, no pain on the ball of my feet, the instep is at a perfect angle, and they are the perfect shade of nude for my complexion. I can literally wear these sandals with everything. If you find a pair of sandals this perfect, hang on to them. These babies will be with me until they fall apart.

I just love TJ Maxx, Marshals, and Ross; you can save a ton of money by shopping at any of these chains. These stores often have items that are currently in the department stores for up to 60% less. I scored this top and skirt for less than $40 at TJ Maxx earlier this year. I try to visit my local stores at least once a week, because they get new shipments of merchandise every week.

I am linking up to What I Wore Wednesday.

Thank you so much for reading!

  4. Thanks for visiting my blog and following! I'm following you now, too. I love Michael Kors, and that's good to know his shoes are so comfortable. I'll have to keep that in mind. I really have to get to TJ Maxx more often. Maybe once my shopping ban is lifted.

    1. I have also recently cut my work schedule, and now I only go in to the office 2-3 times a week. Some of my off days I still wake up and get dressed, and when my husband comes home he asks me where I've been. And when I say nowhere, he just laughs at me and shakes his head.

    1. It is hard work finding the right shoes. I actually bought another pair MK sandals when I bought these and have only worn the other pair once. They were the exact opposite of these in comfort!

  25. I LOVE this look. And girl, you totally just pulled off two trends at once, which is NOT easy! Way to work it!

Also, I love Marhsall's, Ross, and TJ Maxx. So much more reliable than thrift stores like Goodwill, in my opinion. But just as inexpensive!

  37. I so wish I was more dedicated about checking out my local discount stores... I go so infrequently, and then frustrated when I never find anything. But this skirt + top combo is gorgeous! And yes, when you find shoes that awesome, you hold on to them, and look for where you can buy another pair!
